What we offer

Services

Banks, PSOs and merchants underwrite three things: (1) a named SECP company with published directors, (2) software they can inspect in a sandbox, and (3) copy that never pretends an EMI or PSO licence exists before it does. Stratos is built around that Pakistan-first pattern.

Important disclaimer. STRATOS FINTECH (PRIVATE) LIMITED is a Pakistan fintech. Payment gateway, open banking, instant-transfer and settlement products described on this website will go live after the required licences and host-to-host authorisations from the State Bank of Pakistan and partner banks. The company does not currently hold an EMI, PSO, PSP or banking licence.
01

Open Banking Infrastructure

API-first rails that help banks and lenders ship modern digital products in weeks — not the years a core replacement demands. Standards-aligned, secure, and designed to sit under SBP guidelines once the relevant authorisation or bank-sponsored model is in place.

Typical work starts with classification (software layer vs regulated activity), then a sandbox surface: authenticated APIs, webhooks, sample payloads and a responsibility map between the bank and Stratos. We do not pretend this is a live account-information or payment-initiation licence.

02

Digital Payment Gateways

Accept cards, wallets, Apple Pay, Google Pay and bank transfers through one integration — designed for merchants from a single storefront to a national chain, with 3DS2-ready checkout design and a refund/dispute console.

The control panel (merchant onboarding, payment links, transaction journal, KYC via Shufti Pro) is already built as software. Card scheme acquiring and settlement of customer funds require SBP authorisation or a licensed partner bank. Until then this remains a sandbox and architecture product.

03

Cross-Border Settlements

Inbound collection design from the UK, USA, UAE and Europe with live balance visibility and automated FX pathways — full audit trails and SBP-aware reporting language for finance teams and Authorised Dealer banks.

Pakistan FX rules channel foreign-currency dealings through SBP Authorised Dealers. Stratos designs the software, status language and export documentation; we do not operate as a standalone FX house. Production corridors go live only with AD-bank partners.

04

Instant Local Payouts

Disburse to Pakistani bank accounts over Raast and 1LINK-oriented rails in seconds. Automated, reconciled and always-on — payroll, refunds and vendor payments without waiting on a batch window.

Raast (SBP instant payments) and 1LINK (bank-consortium switching) are the domestic rails this product is designed against. Operating a payment system or holding customer balances is a licensed activity. Our current delivery is the job model, status webhooks and reconciliation exports.

05

Consumer Payments App

A secure iOS and Android app for how Pakistanis actually pay — fast, simple, trusted. Same live ledger as the Pakistan web portal. Biometric pathways and peer transfers sit on the product roadmap, not as unlicensed e-money.

The official Stratos app is installable today from the Apps page on this desk (Add to Home Screen on iPhone and Android). It shares the central ledger with the Pakistan merchant and customer portal. A consumer wallet that holds e-money would require an EMI licence we do not hold.

06

Enterprise Integrations

Host-to-host connections, webhooks and a dedicated onboarding team that gets corporate systems reconciling from day one. ERP connectors, custom reporting and line-item payout status instead of file-level opacity.

Built for finance, treasury and shared-services teams who already live in batch files. We start with visibility and failure reason codes; live disbursement rides licensed rails or partner banks, never a silent spreadsheet.

Design principles

Built for this desk

Pakistan’s digital payments stack is being rebuilt around instant, interoperable infrastructure. The State Bank of Pakistan’s Raast instant payment system — together with the long-standing 1LINK switching network — is shifting the market from delayed batch transfers toward real-time person-to-person, person-to-merchant and bulk disbursement. Pakistani fintechs, merchants and institutions need rails that sit cleanly on that stack while remaining honest about licensing boundaries.

Banks, PSOs and merchants underwrite three things: (1) a named SECP company with published directors, (2) software they can inspect in a sandbox, and (3) copy that never pretends an EMI or PSO licence exists before it does. Stratos is built around that Pakistan-first pattern.

Discover & classify

02

Design the corridor

Document currencies, settlement windows and dispute ownership for the corridor this desk actually serves.

03

Integrate in sandbox

API keys, webhooks, payment-link prototypes and dashboard walkthroughs before any production traffic.

04

Operate with controls

KYC, velocity limits, refunds, chargeback monitoring and founder kill-switches when live rails are authorised.
